I am an Episcopalian with strong Eastern Orthodox leanings and some Anabaptist sympathies. I have written on religious, economic, and political topics elsewhere in the past. I have created this new blog because in much of my past writing and interactions I tended toward pride, anger and other un-Christian attitudes and behaviors. I also feel that much of my writing and advocacy over the past few years has not been appropriately God-centered. I am seeking to act with more humility and less divisiveness here. I am seeking to follow Christ’s calling. I hope to walk with Christ and proclaim His good news.
I believe and confess, Lord, that You are truly the Christ, the Son of the living God, who came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the first.
All of my writing in this blog is released into the public domain and is thus freely redistributable. I’d appreciate attribution if you do share my work elsewhere, but it is by no means required. Works that I quote, videos, audio, and links I share may or may not be in the public domain, but since many of them are not, it should not be assumed without further research that the works I cite or share are in the public domain. Bible quotations are most often taken from these translations: New King James Version and the New Revised Standard Version. On occasion, I may use the New International Version. When citing the Old Testament, I may occasionally cite the Orthodox Study Bible.
